Physical Therapy

Wellness on Seaboard was founded with a clear vision: to create a place where people feel supported, understood, and empowered in their wellness journey. After graduating from Wheeling Jesuit University in West Virginia with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy, Lori moved to NC in 2005 and met her husband, who was raised in Cameron, NC. They have 2 girls who attend the local middle and elementary schools. She is active in the Town of Vass, where she serves on the Board of the Friends of the Vass Library, is involved with the Vass Business Association, and is active with an all-girls troop of the Boy Scouts of America.

After being a Collegiate Athlete who played basketball, Lori found a path to physical therapy and has practiced for 21 years in Outpatient Orthopedics. She brings clinical expertise, compassionate care, and a personalized approach to helping clients reduce pain, improve mobility, and move through life with greater ease and confidence.

Her work is rooted in the belief that wellness is not one-size-fits-all. Every person brings a different story, different goals, and different needs, which is why Lori’s approach is centered on listening first, then building a path forward that feels realistic, supportive, and sustainable.

Her certifications include Mastery Certification in Manual Therapy with Hands on Seminars, Titleist Performance Institute Certified, Dry Needling Advanced Certification through Myopain Seminars, Kinesiotaping and Rock Tape Certified, Champion Performance Specialist, and Sportsmetrics Certified.

The Beginning

Wellness on Seaboard was created from a simple belief: health feels more sustainable when people feel supported, encouraged, and connected. We envisioned a space where movement could be both meaningful and approachable — a place where children, adults, and families could build healthier habits in an environment that feels welcoming and personal.

What began as a professional passion for helping people move well grew into a broader vision for community-centered wellness in Vass. Today, Wellness on Seaboard is growing as a place for joyful classes, supportive guidance, and stronger connections through movement.

Your Well-Being Matters

At Wellness on Seaboard, every person’s wellness journey is personal. That is why the focus is not just on movement itself, but on creating an experience that helps people feel comfortable, encouraged, and confident as they take the next step in their health.

Whether someone joins a class, brings in their child for a positive movement experience, or simply wants to stay connected to a healthier routine, the goal is always the same: to offer support that feels thoughtful, human, and empowering.
